Dimitry MERINOFF (1896-1971) -friend of Goncharova and Larionov, painter and sculptor - see http://www.artrz.ru/search/%20MERINOFF/1804785276.html [In 1920 he settled in Paris. He attended the National School of Decorative Arts and independently engaged in the Louvre. He was a friend of Natalia Goncharova, Mikhail Larionov, S. Charchoun, N. Isaev, VV Pustoshkin. He wrote postimpressionist oil paintings and gouaches. For earnings created designs for fabrics and engaged in wood carving. He participated in the salons of Paris: Fall (1928), the Tuileries (1932, 1936, 1939) and Independent (1939, 1940). Created decorative bas-reliefs for the City Hall of Ermont near Paris and the University of Paris, he performed the restoration work at the Cathedral of Noyon (Oise).]
